Dress Code: Modest dress code is required at all Pow Wows. Nice jeans (no holes) and a nice top are recommended. Please refer to the Dress Code details in your email communication!
“Pow Wow Etiquette” information has been provided by our former Student Ambassador Jackson Burghart and his mom, Stephanie. They are members of the Kiowa tribe. Jackson served on the Indigenous Voices Youth Council of the Native American Student Services (NASS), which is the group organizing the Pow Wow.
Please take a few minutes to review, as it provides great insight into the traditions and expectations for guests attending any Pow Wow.
